Bobby Kotick is an American businessman. He is the current Activision CEO, president, and director of Activision Blizzard, one of the world’s largest video game publishers. Kotick began his career in the software industry in 1983 when he co-founded Infinity Ward, which would later merge with Activision. Kotick was born on December 27, 1963, in South Orange, New Jersey. He is the son of Robert Kotick, Sr., and Judy Kleinberg. Kotick’s father was a partner at the law firm of Proskauer Rose. His mother was a schoolteacher. Kotick has two sisters, Stacy and Wendy. He is Jewish. Kotick graduated from Brookline High School in 1982. He then attended Villanova University, where he majored in finance and accounting.
