Hair reveals personality and lifestyle, and that’s why many women want thick, healthy luscious hair- which is hard to achieve at home. Most store products do more harm than good to your hair. People tend to stick with lower priced products and don’t realize all the harmful ingredients they are putting on their hair daily. So, many Sephora brands take advantage by adding cheap fillers. That is why it’s important to find products with quality ingredients that have proven to be good for your hair.
This is the whole reasoning of why Chaz Dean has created Wen. As stated on Wen’s Facebook page, the product is a no-lather, cleansing conditioner. It is a 5-in-1 formula that takes place of your shampoo, conditioner, deep conditioner, detangler, and leave-in conditioner for only $32 on eBay. It is a perfect blend of ingredients, including herbs and extracts; instead of harsh stripping agents found in regular shampoos.
An article on Bustle.com by Emily McClure (here is the link to the full article if you would like to read more about her experience: http://www.bustle.com/articles/136320-i-used-cleansing-cleansing-conditioner-on-my-fine-hair-heres-what-happened)just had to see what all they hype was about and did her own personal product test on WEN hair. On Day 1, she was weary about how much of the brand recommends using and began to worry it would weigh her fine hair down. As she massaged the product in her hair it felt almost thicker. She said “it seems crazy, but it actually felt like I had more hair.” She also noticed little to no hair falling out. After her shower she blew dryed her hair and felt it to be more shiny and bouncy. Day 2- She woke to her roots aalready greasy, which was a surprise becaus it took a day or two for her hair to get oily. She then again washed her hair and it resumed the shiny, voluminous look from Day 1. She loved the “after” look however was weary of the product due to how greasy her roots were. Day 3- Her roots weren’t as greasy as the morning of Day 2. She washer her hair again and going on throughout the day, her hair got flatter, however, at the end of the day her hair still looked pretty shiny and healthy; overall she was impressed.
Day 4- She woke up to a frizzy, greasy mess, and couldn’t wash her hair until later that night. Day 5- It was the first time the whole week she felt totally confident about her hair from start to finish. Day 6- She was settling into a routine with Wen. She needed to use the product in the morning to get clean looking hair. Day 7- Last day of the experiment she followed her same routine; her hair looked great!
Overall, she thinks the product is for the less lazier person who could wake up early to rid the oil, but satisfyingly the product made her hair look fabulous. Wen obviously works differently on many hair types and this product seems amazing and you will just have to try it out for yourself! So go and get that amazing thick, healthy, luscious hair you’ve always wanted. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wen
