Haroldo Jacobovicz is the founder of Horizons Telecom located in Curitiba, Brazil, and started the business in 2010. He attended college for civil engineering and graduated from university in 1983. When he was attending university, he started his first company, Microsystem by partnering with three of his friends in the computer industry.
Microsystems provided information technology services to pharmacies, supermarkets, and stores. Haroldo Jacobovicz worked as a reserve salesman for the Esso team which is now known as Exxon Mobile.
Harold then worked in advertisement supervising the commercial sector within the business based in Rio de Janeiro. Jacobovicz then returned to Curitiba to work in the hydroelectric power plant industry. He founded a company named Minauro company, leasing and maintaining computers on a four-year contract. The equipment was replaced every eighteen months to ensure proper functioning.
Haroldo Jacobovicz then started Horizons Telecom from the ground up to provide telecommunications to the corporate market. Horizons currently work on a 100% fiber network, bring a better experience to telecommunications customers. Horizons Telecom is now one of Brazil’s largest and most respected telecom suppliers. Harold Jacobovicz reports the experience he received in his younger days helped him be successful today.
Haroldo Jacobovicz wanted to pursue an unorthodox business venture and in 2013, invested in the very first Hard Rock Café in Brazil. He worked on having teamwork the business and then in 2018, sold the business. He continues to work his way up into the telecom business, using commercial tactics and his experience to make advancements in the business.
